Education Support: Excellence Through Collaboration

At TSSMAT, we don't believe in "one size fits all." We believe in bespoke school improvement. Our Education Support model is designed to empower individual Headteachers while providing a safety net of expert services, ensuring that no school—and no child—is left to struggle in isolation.

We provide the "scaffolding" that allows your school to reach higher, focusing on high-quality teaching, robust data analysis, and a curriculum that inspires.

Our Three Pillars of School Improvement

1. The Curriculum Champions Network

We have moved away from isolated planning. Our Curriculum Champions work across the Trust to develop high-quality, research-informed schemes of work.

  • Subject Expertise: Access to specialist leads in core subjects (English, Maths, Science) and foundation subjects.

  • Shared Resources: Reduce teacher workload by utilizing high-quality, shared planning and assessment tools.

  • Rural Context: A curriculum designed specifically to work within the unique context of smaller, rural cohorts and mixed-age classes.

2. Peer-to-Peer Review & Quality Assurance

We foster a culture of "professional courage" rather than fear. Our quality assurance is a collaborative process:

  • Cross-School Moderation: Regular sessions where teachers from different academies meet to ensure assessment accuracy and share "what works."

  • Headteacher Networks: Our leaders meet frequently to provide mutual support, challenge one another, and solve problems collectively.

  • External Validation: We bring in external expertise to provide objective views of our schools, ensuring we are always "Ofsted ready" without the stress of working alone.

3. Data-Driven Intervention

We use sophisticated data tracking to identify trends before they become issues.

  • Early Identification: Spotting gaps in pupil progress early allows for immediate, targeted intervention.

  • Trend Analysis: We look at the "big picture" across the Trust to identify where specific training or resources need to be diverted.

  • Inclusive Support: Dedicated SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) coordination to ensure our most vulnerable learners receive the specialist provision they deserve.

Centralised Services: Freedom to Lead
